KUCHING (Aug 1): The Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) Sarawak Regional Office is offering to lease its facilities at the existing premises in the Demak Laut industrial area here to the local community and industries.

MPC director Dr Mazlina Shafi’I said this effort is a significant step in ensuring government’s assets are fully utilised, and also in line with its commitment to provide top-notch facilities for the public.

“The facilities offered include seminar and training rooms, meeting rooms, a multipurpose hall, and a hall for badminton activities.

“All these facilities are equipped with the latest technology and modern equipment to ensure comfort and smooth running of activities,” she said in the statement.

Among other benefits of the MPC facilities in the Demak Laut industrial area here, she added, are their strategic location and accessibility, besides their top-notch basic amenities and cost-effective rental rates.

“We believe that by opening these facilities to the local community and industries, we can not only enhance productivity by optimising the use of government assets but also support various activities that benefit the community,” she said.

In this regard, she called upon local communities and industries interested in using these office facilities to make reservations by contacting MPC officers on 082-439959.

“We welcome all parties to take advantage of this opportunity and together we can optimise government assets for the common good.”
