Open kitchen half a unique local dish

MUKAH, 2 Oct: Mukah Kitchen is among the main fillings of the Sarawakku Sayang (SKS) Program Mukah Division which highlights the diversity of dishes based on local recipes.

Sarawak Government Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki said the variety of local food offered makes Mukah Kitchen among the attractions for visitors throughout the programme.

"Another attraction I noticed was the kitchen today and the food was very interesting.

"Many local recipe attractions that we can't see anywhere else", he said when interviewed by reporters after finishing the pre-launch of Open Kitchen here today.

According to him, the local dishes highlighted provide a different experience for visitors, besides introducing recipes that become between identity and attraction in the Open Section.

In the meantime, he said preparations for SKS Mukah are going well and the people of Mukah are ready to welcome the presence of the Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

SKS Mukah lasts till Sunday at Pehin Setia Raja Square providing a variety of activities, including 170 government services for community facilities. - TVS
