SIBU: The Jerwit Neighbourhood Committee (KRT Jerwit) has been recently established, with Iing Shii Ngie, a professional architect, appointed as its chairman.

The letter of approval for its estabishment was issued by Sibu Division National Unity officer Siti Nurfatimah Hussen during the first board of directors’ meeting on Wednesday (Jan 31).

With its establishment, KRT Jerwit becomes the 95th KRT formed in the Sibu area, with the aim to work with the Bureau and residents in the area to promote community unity.
