LUNDU: Additional allocation is sought for the gravity pipe system upgrading project in Kampung Pasir Tengah.
Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang revealed that the project, initially estimated at RM400,000, faces insufficient funding after a reassessment by the involved agency.
He stressed the need for additional funds to ensure the smooth implementation of the project during his site visit on Friday (Jan 19).
Apart from that, Billy said the Greater Kuching Coordinated Development Agency (GKCDA) initiative has been instrumental in enhancing development plans in the Opar constituency.
He lauded the efforts by the government, saying it was evident when GKCDA initiated a series of site visits to projects slated for implementation as early as March 2024.
