Premier pays courtesy call to Sarawak TYT ahead of Sarawak Cabinet Meeting

KUCHING, Jan 22: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg today paid a courtesy call on Sarawak Governor (TYT) Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar at his residence in Kesuma Resort, Petra Jaya here.

According to a post uploaded on Tun Wan Junaidi’s official Facebook page, the meeting, held at 10am, was a constitutional requirement and a long-standing tradition conducted ahead of the Sarawak State Cabinet Meeting (MMKN).

In a warm and cordial atmosphere, both leaders held in-depth discussions on Sarawak’s direction, with particular emphasis on the State’s development agenda.

Tun Wan Junaidi shared his views on several current issues, including matters related to Sarawak’s administration and economy, and expressed appreciation for the Premier’s policies and continuous planning aimed at positioning Sarawak as one of the most developed regions in Malaysia by 2030. – DayakDaily
