SIBU: Bukit Assek assemblyman Joseph Chieng Jin Ek inspected Pump Station 3 in Ek Dee, Jalan Lanang, to assess its effectiveness in mitigating recent flooding.
In a Facebook post, Chieng said areas like Jalan Jerwit, particularly around Lorong 9 and 7B, have been experiencing frequent water pooling due to heavy rainfall, despite the recent road improvement project funded by his service centre.
He also said residents have reported the issue and are seeking urgent solutions.
