KUCHING (Aug 1): Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan led a delegation on a visit to Pangyo Techno Valley in Seoul, South Korea yesterday.
The International Trade, Industry and Investment Minister said in a statement the visit aimed to establish collaboration with the Gyeonggido Business and Science Accelerator (GBSA)
This is to develop a sustainable innovative model for start-up and small and medium enterprises in Sarawak.
Pangyo Techno Valley is known as the Silicon Valley of South Korea, a hub for technology and innovation, which is home to over 1,600 top innovative companies from South Korea.
Pangyo Techno Valley is managed by GBSA, an agency established by the Gyeonggi Province Government in 1997 to manage and enhance the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises in research and promote technology in science and industry.
