Singaporean airline Scoot will be flying five times a week to Melaka from 23 October onwards
The flight between Singapore's Changi Airport and Melaka International Airport will take about 55 minutes.
Flights to Singapore are priced from RM75 and flights to Melaka are priced from RM242.94. Meanwhile, a round trip costs approximately RM318, excluding tax.
Bookings can be made starting today, 6 August, on Scoot's website or mobile app.
With the addition of Melaka, Scoot also operates flights to 10 other destinations in Malaysia
The airline currently offers flights to the following states and airports in Malaysia:
- Ipoh: Sultan Azlan Shah Airport
- Penang: Penang International Airport
- Kuantan: Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport
- Kuala Lumpur: Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Subang Airport
- Sabah: Kota Kinabalu International Airport
- Sarawak: Kuching International Airport, Miri Airport, and Sibu Airport
- Kedah: Langkawi International Airport
According to the airline's website, flights to Langkawi, Kuantan, Miri, and Sibu are quite limited, and Scoot no longer operates flights to Kota Bahru.
Since 1 August, Scoot has been operating flights from Subang Airport:
