Search on for killer driver

MIRI: Authorities are actively searching for a vehicle involved in a fatal incident that claimed the life of a pedestrian on Saturday night.

The incident is believed to have occurred around 9pm at Jalan Tudan near E-Mart Tudan.

The victim, whose identity has yet to be released, was struck by a four-wheel-drive vehicle, according to sources.

Passersby alerted the authorities, and a police mobile patrol vehicle was dispatched to the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident or anyone with information on the vehicle involved to come forward. Investigations are ongoing.
