SGH gets air-conds from SABATI

KUCHING: The Association of Wives of Ministers and Assistant Ministers of Sarawak (SABATI) donated air conditioners and mannequins to the Oncology Unit of Sarawak General Hospital.

The handing-over ceremony was attended by SABATI president Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang.

The donation, comprising 10 air conditioning units for the male radiotherapy ward and mannequins for staff training and practical purposes, was officiated by the wife of Premier.

The initiative aims to enhance patient care and support healthcare infrastructure.

During the ceremony, Juma’ani also visited the male radiotherapy ward, interacting with patients and distributing contributions.

Also present were SABATI deputy president Datin Amar Enn Ong Siok Ean, Malaysian Government Servants’ Welfare and Sports Council (MAKSAK) Sarawak Women’s chairman Datin Amar Baduyah Bujang, SABATI honorary treasurer Datin Siti Shorgayah Ahmad Zaidin, and Sarawak General Hospital director Dr. Ngian Hie Ung.
