Sheda Bintulu, Land and Survey pledge commitment to discuss land issues

BINTULU (Aug 15): Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (Sheda) Bintulu branch and the Land and Survey Bintulu divisional office have established a mutual understanding and commitment for regular roundtable discussions.

A dialogue session was held between both parties at the Land and Survey Divisional Office here yesterday, led by Superintendent Haslinda Hamdan.

It marked a significant step in strengthening collaboration between Sheda Bintulu and Land and Survey Bintulu divisional office.

During the meeting, both parties pledged their commitment to meet regularly, at least twice a year, to discuss key issues such as land titles’ issuance, land-related challenges and development matters.

Sheda Bintulu branch chairman Noel Yek, in commending the proactive approach taken by the Land and Survey Bintulu divisional office said, “With these ongoing discussions, we can collectively address and improve land-related issues faced by developers in Bintulu.”

“The dialogue session is a fruitful one, providing an opportunity for both parties to raise concerns and explore solutions together,” he said, citing the branch’s commitment in supporting the town’s growth and development.

Also held during the event was the presentation of land titles from Land and Survey Bintulu Divisional Office to project developers.
