ADVERTISE HERE
THREE days may be short, but the effects can last longer in memory.
This is what can be described through the Sarawakku Sayang (SKS) Concrete Division's oversight that not only brings together various government agencies in one location, but also serves as a bridge between the government and the people.
From September 25 to 27 at the Concrete Sports Complex, a total of 156 services from 47 agencies were delivered directly to the community.
It thus gives citizens access to a wide range of facilities, advisory services and information without having to go from one agency to another.
Behind that number, there's a human story.

Some come for treatment and undergo health screening, not the least of which is seeking information about help and well-being.
In fact, there are entrepreneurs who bring handmade products for introduction, while younger generations take the opportunity to explore the variety of spaces and opportunities available.
This is the real value of SKS Betong Serserh that recorded 97,000 visitors.
It's not just about how many agencies are participating or how much service is being offered, but about the extent to which people feel the government is with them.
In the ever-growing rush of development, this kind of face-to-face touch has its own meaning.
People not only see the government through policies, announcements or development figures, but can meet with those who deliver services themselves.

For Concrete, this year's SKS launch also opened up the space for communities to get closer to the potential of their own areas, from agriculture, entrepreneurship and local food to community tourism as well as local children's products.
Concrete is not just a place of worship, it's also a platform for the power of its community.
More interestingly, the programme also proves that development does not have to be measured only through large-scale projects.

Sometimes, development starts when people get answers to their questions, entrepreneurs discover new opportunities, families learn about help that can be given or residents receive services that have been difficult to obtain.
A small thing for some may mean a great deal to the recipient.
This is the face of Sarawak that we want to build, a province whose development and services are moving in line with people's needs.
SKS Concrete finally tore the curtain by leaving more than just a program site back empty.
It left behind experiences, connections and a sense of appreciation among the community present.

Three days were memorable when 47 agencies became movers and 156 services became liaisons.
But most importantly, people are the heartbeat of everything.
Because in the end, a program is measured not just by the vibrancy of an event, but by how much it gives meaning to human life.
Sarawak My Darling is not just a name for a program. In concrete, it is translated through presence, service and touch to the people.
