KUCHING, July 24: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has forecasted drier weather and reduced rainfall across the nation in the coming days until July 27.
This change is attributed to two active tropical cyclones, classified as typhoons and tropical storms, currently located in the northeastern waters of the Philippines and the South China Sea, near Hainan Island.
The influence of these tropical systems is expected to lead to a temporary reduction in precipitation.
However, weather models predict that normal weather conditions will return once these cyclones weaken, anticipated to begin on July 27.
Residents are advised to stay updated by visiting the official MET Malaysia website at www.met.gov.my, following their social media platforms, and using the myCuaca mobile application for the latest and accurate weather information. — DayakDaily
