BINTULU: Cooperation among various parties in shaping students is crucial for empowering the country’s education system.
SMK Kemena principal Nasirin Adenan said that parents, alongside teachers, are fundamental in ensuring students excel academically, in co-curricular activities, and in developing strong personalities and leadership skills.
“This partnership is vital for smooth educational operations,” Nasirin said when speaking at the school jogathon event here recently.
The principal further outlined the broader objectives of education in Malaysia, which aim at holistic development, creating balanced individuals capable of contributing positively to their families, society, and the nation.
“Our goal is to nurture knowledgeable, virtuous, responsible, and skilled Malaysians,” he said.
The jogathon featured various categories, including races for teachers, male and female students below and above 15 years old, and an open category. The event, which begun at 7am, was officiated by Steven Kong Kai Seng, Special Officer to Bintulu MP Datuk Sri Tiong King Sing.
