SUKMA committees inspecting sports venues for its preparation

MIRI: Chief executive officer of Malaysian Games 2024 (SUKMAXXI) Sarawak, Datuk Hii Chang Kee has conducted an official working visit to three of the SUKMA sports venue here, yesterday (July 29).

Along with the secretariat of the SUKMA XXI Miri committees, they visited the karate sports venue at Dewan IKBN, the men’s softball sports venue at IKBN field and the sailing sports venue at Marina Bay.

The visits aimed at checking on the progress of the SUKMA committees’ preparation in the area, thus ensuring that SUKMA-related facilities are well-managed and running smoothly.

During the visit, he also had the opportunity to watch the sailing athletes from Sarawak and Terengganu trained at Marina Bay.

Earlier, Hii also chaired the Special Meeting of SUKMA XXI Sarawak 2024 Miri Division and listened to the presentation of reports from each attending committees.

Also present were the Miri Division Resident, Jamalie Busri, and other distinguished guest.
