KUCHING (July 31): Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus (Swinburne Sarawak) will be having its open day in Kuching, Bintulu, Sarikei, Miri and Sibu this August 3 to 4.
In Kuching, the Open Day will be on August 3 from 10am to 4pm at the Jalan Simpang Tiga campus, and the same day in Bintulu at NU Hotel and Sarikei at Coffee Code, from 11am to 4pm.
On August 4, the open day in Miri will be at Imperial Hotel and in Sibu at Tanahmas Hotel, both from 11am to 4pm.
In a statement today, Swinburne Sarawak said the open day events provide prospective students with the opportunity to explore Australian education at affordable rates and are open to the public and particularly target school leavers from SPM, STPM, O-Level, A-Level, and UEC.
The events will showcase Swinburne Sarawak’s comprehensive offerings, including its globally-ranked courses, modern facilities, scholarships, and Work Integrated Learning programmes.
During the open day events, attendees can also receive personalised counseling and learn about scholarships.
Swinburne Sarawak said at the Kuching open day, Yayasan Sarawak would also be providing exclusive talks and one-on-one consultations on scholarships and financial aid.
Additionally, prospective students can learn about the English Enhancement Program (EEP), which offers fully sponsored English language training, free accommodation, and an allowance, paving the way for entry into Swinburne Sarawak’s foundation, diploma, or degree programs.
The events would feature guided campus tours and a chance to explore the upgraded facilities, including the Borneo Atrium, Student Hub, The Junction, Student Village, and Food Hall.
Swinburne Sarawak said it also accepts on-the-spot applications with immediate Letters of Offer for Kuching applicants and Letters of Eligibility for those at other locations.
