The people of Sarawak reflect the real face of the state

KUCHING, Sept. 22: Every Sarawak citizen is a reflection of the real face of the state in introducing Sarawak's successes, culture and identity to the outside world.

The Chief Political Secretary to the Prime Minister of Sarawak, Dato Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman said that the role is important in ensuring an accurate picture of the development and life of the people of Sarawak.

He believes that they are not only community leaders, but also the connectors who bring a real picture of Sarawak's development and life to outsiders.

"Every citizen of Sarawak represents this state. Community leaders attending courses or seminars outside Sarawak act as a communicator who share the success, culture and way of life of our community", he said.

He said this during a media briefing after completing the Explanation and Explanation of Issues Programme during 'Sarawak Government Achievement Initiative' at Sarawak State Library, here today.

Commenting further, Fazzrudin emphasized that the responsibility also involves students, private sector workers and civil servants in ensuring accurate information related to Sarawak.

"Every citizen of Sarawak, be it students, private sector employees, civil servants or community leaders, should play a role in explaining to the outside world the real situation in Sarawak", he said. - TVS
