KUCHING: Over 80 E-hailing partner-drivers from Maxim, along with the employee team from Maxim Sarawak, participated in blood donation campaigns held in Kuching, Bintulu, and Miri.

Maxim stated in a press release that the campaign aimed to raise awareness about blood donation among partner-drivers and help them understand the benefits of being donors.

The main objective is to foster a spirit of helping those in need and inform partner-drivers about the health advantages of donating blood, which include reducing the risk of heart attacks, improving blood flow, and balancing iron levels.

“Donating blood is not only a personal act of health and well-being but also a profound gesture of compassion and community support.

“It fills me with joy to know that 17 drivers from Maxim Bintulu have also chosen to participate in this meaningful endeavour. It is incredibly heart-warming to witness so many individuals willing to come together for a common cause,” said Leonardo, the head of Maxim Bintulu.

Meanwhile, Gary Lim, head of Maxim Miri, expressed his pride in the initiative, which saw dedicated partner-drivers stepping up to contribute to a cause that goes beyond everyday responsibilities.

“Maxim E-hailing partner-drivers are true heroes because of their selfless contributions that provide essential support to those in need.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to Columbia Asia Miri, Red Crescent Miri, and Miri Hospital Blood Bank for organising this meaningful event and giving us the opportunity to join in and contribute to the community and show our commitment to the well-being of others,” he said.
