Thunderstorm warning, heavy rain in three states

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Sept: The Meteorological Department of Malaysia (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning, heavy rains and high winds in some areas in Sarawak and Sabah until 11 am today and throughout Penang until 12 noon today.

MetMalaysia in a statement said the affected areas in Sarawak are Limbang, Miri (Miri and Subis) and Kuching (Lundu and Kuching).

In Sabah, similar warnings include the West Coast (Penampang, Putatan, Papar, Tuaran, Lake and Kota Kinabalu) , the Deep (Membakut, Beaufort, Kuala Pen peninsula, Tambunan, Keningau and Tenom). -TVS
