Toyota SUV catches fire

KUCHING: A Toyota Harrier was engulfed in flames in Lorong B, Taman BDC here today (July 27).

The State Fire and Rescue Department Operations Centre received a distress call at 2.59 pm.

Responding swiftly, firefighters from the Batu Lintang fire station rushed to the scene.

Upon arrival, they encountered the SUV overturned and ablaze.

The fire was successfully extinguished and brought under control by 4.15 pm.

There were no casualties. The operation concluded at 4.18 pm.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
