Uggah receives courtesy calls from Brunei Consul-General, Bumiputera engineers group

KUCHING (July 10): Consul-General of Brunei to Sarawak, His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Mahdani Dato Paduka Sheikh Abdul Ghani, today paid a courtesy call on Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here.

During the call, which lasted an hour, they discussed issues and topics of mutual interest to both Sarawak and Brunei.

Later, the Gabungan Jurutera Perunding Bumiputera Sarawak led by its chairman Irwan Zulkarnain Hasbie also called on Uggah together with his committee members.

Among others, Irwan briefed Uggah on the formation of the association, its objectives and its participation in various government development projects since 2014.
