Water supply interruption for several areas tonight, says Sibu Water Board

SIBU (Aug 25): There will be water supply interruption tonight for several areas here from 10pm until completion, said the Sibu Water Board (SWB).

In a Facebook post, SWB said the interruption, which is estimated to take about five hours, is to repair a burst pipe at the traffic light on Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce/Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman off Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman here.

“The SWB contractor will make every effort to repair the pipe leak as quickly as possible. The estimated repair time is five hours,” it said.

The affected areas include Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce (Salim Bypass) – Lorong 40 to 46 and 60 to 66 (including Petronas Station) and Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (Lorong Tunku Abdul Rahman 42, Rh Sebastian, Jalan Raffelsia, Jalan Jade Villa, Taman Azalea, Taman Sanhill, Sibu Airport and Eco Garden), Sibujaya.

Other affected areas include Jalan Durin Link up to Durin Bridge, Jalan Nibong Tada (including the Nibong Tada JBALB booster pump station), Taman Kemuyang, Rascom Camp, Rh Nari until Sibu/Bintulu traffic light junction.
