Yayasan Farley blood donation campaign hits targeted number of donors

KUCHING (Oct 21): A blood donation programme organised by Yayasan Farley on Saturday succeeded in achieving its target of gathering 120 blood donors at Farley Kuching.

Yayasan Farley in a release said the primary goal of the programme was to contribute to life-saving efforts by collecting a substantial number of blood units to meet the increasing demand for blood transfusions in the community.

“As a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to humanitarian causes, Yayasan Farley is committed to making a positive impact on society, and the blood donation programme is a testament to this commitment,” it said.

The foundation said the 120 blood donors who participated comprised pre-registered donors and those who registered on-site.

“Achieving this goal of 120 donors will significantly impact the local blood supply and contribute to meeting the needs of hospitals and healthcare facilities,” it added.

All blood donors received goodie bags from Yayasan Farley as a token of appreciation.
