KUCHING (Feb 28): Twelve individuals, including a woman, were arrested for alleged involvement in drugs during a police operation on Friday.
According to the Padawan district police headquarters on Facebook, the suspects, aged between 23 and 52, were apprehended in the Matang and Batu Kawa areas.
“Of the suspects, four men and a woman are being investigated under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, while a 45-year-old man is being investigated under Section 39A(1) of the same Act.
“All suspects were also tested positive for methamphetamine, and are also being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Act,” the post said.
