SIBU: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg presented loyal service awards 298 civil servants from 16 departments and agencies, 13 of them from the Sarawak government and three from the federal government.
Deputy Resident of Sibu, Christopher Ranggau Unting, headed the list of recipients here Monday (Dec 18).
Other recipients include Selangau District Officer Enting @ Inting Nyami who has served for 29 years and Kanowit District Officer Jackline August @ August Jahar (20 years).
Also receiving the loyal service award are Sarikei Division Resident Michael Ronnie Langgong who has been in service for 30 years, Kapit Division Resident Galong Luang (25 years), and acting Chief Executive Officer of the Rajang Port Authority, Hayati Kiprawi (31 years).
Among recipients who have served for more than 39 years is Ambrose Cheng Loi Hee, who serves as the Press Secretary to the Premier.
Others are Wilbert Jampi Tinggang, Hendrew Uka Alo, Belaja Jagon, Lee Ling Sang, Wahap Abdul Hamid, Ajin Balong, Lim Lee Tan, Dunny Tanjong, Margaret Marcus Sungum, Eday Lalla William Dumbal, Gapar Mohamad @ Mohamed Ulai, Renang Naong, Limen Muyang, Rose Kasi, Irah Malang, Rebecca Sapok Jalong, and Genillun Moleng.
Among those present at the award presentation were Deputy State Secretary (Economic Planning and Development) Datuk Dr Abdullah Zaidel, Deputy Minister of Transport (Road and Aviation) Datuk Dr Jerip Susil and Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Dr Annuar Rapaee.
