“Some have already been completed but are yet to begin operations, while others have only recently started construction,” he told reporters at the PETROS Darul Hana Multi-Fuel Station (MFS) here today.

He said the expansion forms part of SEDC Energy’s long-term strategy to improve the availability and accessibility of fuel supplies to better serve communities across Sarawak.

To date, the company has developed 12 multi-fuel stations throughout the State, including MFS Daro, MFS Kanowit, MFS Kuala Matu, MFS Brooke Drive and MFS Selangau.

Construction of the PETROS MFS at Jalan Sultan Iskandar in Bintulu is expected to be completed by the second quarter, while three major PETROS stations in Sri Aman, Miri and Sibu have been earmarked for phased launches.

Beyond expanding its fuel retail network, SEDC Energy is also growing Sarawak’s green mobility infrastructure. It currently operates 17 electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities across 10 locations Statewide.

A further 25 locations, involving the installation of 45 EV chargers have also been identified and are at various stages of approval. — DayakDaily
