TATAU, Oct. 5: A woman is safe and uninjured after her car collapsed in a car accident near the Selitut River, Tatau-Bintulu Road, this morning.
According to a statement from the Centre for Operational Movements (PGO) of the Malaysian Department of Bombs and Rescues (JBPM) Sarawak, it received a call regarding the incident at 7.19 am.
"A team from the Bombing and Rescue Department (BBP) Or arrived on site at 7:25 a.m., about five kilometers from the building.
"An examination found that the driver suffered no injuries and no other victims were involved in the incident", according to the statement.
No rescue operation was conducted because no casualties were injured or trapped inside the vehicle.
Bomb squad led by PBT II Sim Mun Chai then conducted surveillance to ensure the scene was safe.
After no hazardous elements were detected, the operation was terminated at 7:51 a.m. before the team left for the hall.
The operation involved six members of the BBP Tatau along with an LFRT machinery as well as assistance from a member of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).
