KUCHING (March 25): Members of the public are urged to support a blood donation drive to be held at Emart Batu Kawa this Saturday (March 28).
Organised by the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Stampin Branch in collaboration with The Roof Reality, the campaign will run from 9am to 2pm.
“The campaign aims to help prevent a potential blood shortage at Sarawak General Hospital during the Hari Raya festive period, when blood demand may increase while donations typically decline,” it said in a statement.
Goodie bags will be given to successful donors as a token of appreciation.
The organisers remind donors of the need to have sufficient rest the night before and consume a light meal before donating. Identification documents are required for registration.
“Each drop of blood donated can help save a life,” the statement added.
