ADVERTISE HERE
SIBU: The Sibu International Bike Week is not just about cruising on elegant motorcycles; it is a vibrant gathering inspiring youth, says Datuk Michael Tiang Ming Tee.
The Deputy Public Health, Housing, and Local Government Minister said there is a sense of camaraderie and respect for rules among big bike enthusiasts, fostering an atmosphere of friendship and brotherhood.
“I think the young people who come here can experience the same brotherhood and treasure this peace, this friendship that we are building through all these activities.
“I think it’s a good place for ‘pemuda’ (youth),” he said when officiating at the programme that drew a massive turnout at Dataran Tun Tuanku Bujang Phase II here last night (Dec 12).
The Pelawan assemblyman mentioned the participation of some 1,000 enthusiasts not only from Malaysia but also from Brunei, Germany, Indonesia, and beyond.
“Sibu is a very unique place. We have people with big dreams and big passions like all these big bikers who have big passions, big dreams; they always want to gather together to share the dreams, share the passion.
“So, I think Sibu is the perfect place for all these people to come here,” he said at the event organised by Razz Chopper Motor Club, running from December 1 to 2.
