MIRI: Sarawak’s women’s fencer, Sara Sofea Indongesit Warrie Okon Warrie, claimed a silver medal in the women’s épée individual event at the 21st Malaysia Games (SUKMA) yesterday (Aug 19).
The Miri-born athlete was narrowly defeated by Melaka’s Farhatul Jannah Abdul Rahman in a closely contested final.
The fencing competition is being held at the Eastwood Gold Valley and Country Club.
