KUCHING: The Stampin and Bandar Kuching Service Centres are ready to provide incentives for top performers in the 2023 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.
“Students scoring at least 5As will receive a minimum of RM200, with the amount increasing for each additional ‘A’ grade. This initiative aims to boost their motivation for the upcoming exams in January next year,” Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen said when attending the closing ceremony of the ‘SPM Power Prep 2023’ Workshop at UCSI Hotel yesterday (Dec 17).
He further said that the Stampin Service Centre would offer financial aid for higher education pursuits post-SPM.
“Families with a combined income below RM7,000 will be eligible for RM1,500 yearly to support their children’s advanced studies,” Chong added.
The recently held two-day workshop, starting on Saturday (Dec 16), involved 800 students from 42 schools. It focused on imparting effective exam strategies, emphasised the importance of both knowledge and the right techniques for exam success.
“We expect these efforts to culminate in outstanding results, enabling the students to avail of the rewards from our service centres,” he said.
