GPS confirmation of Sarawak's vote in the Parliament

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 Oct: The Sarawak Party Alliance (GPS) coordinated its stance in bringing the development agenda, rights and interests of Sarawak to national level through a meeting between the Government of Sarawak and its representatives in Parliament.

Sarawak's Prime Minister, His Highness Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg chaired a meeting with MPs and GPS Senators in the capital last night.

According to Sarawakku's Facebook statement, the meeting discussed development of Sarawak, including implementation of strategic projects as well as issues related to state rights and interests at the Federal level.

"The discussions also touched on current developments that need attention and cooperation between the Sarawak Government with MPs and GPS Senators", according to the statement.

The meeting also served as a platform to coordinate GPS positioning to ensure that Sarawak's voice and agenda continue to be integrated at the national level.

Members of Parliament and GPS Senators also shared views on development issues as well as matters affecting the interests of the people of Sarawak.

The meeting reflected GPS's ongoing commitment to strengthening cooperation between the Government of Sarawak and its representatives in Parliament, particularly to ensure that state development agenda and people's interests continue to receive attention at the Federal level.

Earlier, Brother Johari inaugurated the Sarawakku Sayang Program (SKS) 2026 Series 8th Open Section Excursion before continuing his official agenda in Kuala Lumpur.
