MIRI (Dec 11): A total of 56 children at the Miri Hospital paediatric ward received goodies from Grand Palace Hotel here on Wednesday.
Hotel general manager Helen Choo said the visit was part of the hotel’s annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, held in conjunction with the upcoming Christmas festive season.
“We hope this small gesture will bring cheer to the children at the ward,” she said.
The goodies were distributed during a visit by the hotel’s management team, which was welcomed by Miri Hospital matron Hartini Sinow.
Following the gift distribution, the team also entertained the children with Christmas carols.
In addition to Miri Hospital, the Grand Palace Hotel team visited Borneo Medical Centre (BMC), where they distributed gifts to paediatric patients and performed Christmas carols to spread festive cheer.
