KOTA BHARU, 13 September: Husband to Allahyarham Dr Ainul Baraah Kamarudin, 33, appreciated all those who prayed and helped in the management of his wife's body till completion.

Muhammad Faiz Abdul Malik, 37, said the support of the Federal Government, the Sarawak State Government and the Kelantan Government greatly facilitated all matters relating to spirit management.

"Fate has already happened, but thank God the journey is made easier. I received support from everyone, whether friends who knew me or those who didn't.

"For me, it was a blessing to the spirit because of the support and prayers from all Malaysians. Thank you to everyone including the media", he said when meeting with reporters at Al Karomah Mukim Baung Besar Mosque, Chepa Base here today.

Commenting further, he said that business in Sarawak since the incident took place has been going smoothly despite taking a little time, besides there was uncertainty regarding information at an early stage.

"However, it's okay because all the issues can be resolved sooner than expected, including the process of breaking and testing deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) ", he said.

Muhammad Faiz said he was satisfied with Allah's provision, but admitted that there were times when memories with Allahyarham came back to play in his mind.

Earlier, the body of Dr. Ainul Baraah was safely buried in Sri Kedeper Islamic Cemetery at 2.20 pm after the funeral prayer at Al Karomah Mukim Baung Besar Mosque, Chepa Base here.

Dr Ainul Baraah was among the five victims of an Air Doctor Service (FDS) helicopter crash in Long Lellang, Baram, Sarawak that crashed and burned near the end of Long Lellang STOLport runway at about 3:40 pm last Tuesday.

Nahas also killed Captain Zainol Afiq Bee Sham, 30, medical assistant Alexson Adit Henry, 31, and two nurses, Jessie Paya Jok, 44, and Debra Moset, 40. - TVS
