KUCHING, June 18: AirAsia has issued a public warning to job seekers to remain vigilant against a fraudulent website impersonating its official career portal, which is being used to deceive applicants and collect personal information.

In a press statement today, AirAsia stated that the scam involves a fake recruitment website operating under the domain airasiaexpress.com, which mimics the design and layout of AirAsia’s official careers page.

“The fraudulent site is currently circulating and targeting job applicants by requesting personal details and demanding payment of so-called ‘processing fees’ in order to proceed with a non-existent hiring process,” it said.

AirAsia clarified that its official recruitment portal is exclusively available at careers.airasia.com and stressed that the airline does not charge any processing fees at any stage of the job application or recruitment process.

The airline urged applicants not to share personal, financial, or sensitive information with unverified platforms or third-party websites claiming to represent AirAsia.

“AirAsia continues to monitor such fraudulent activities and encourages the public to verify all recruitment information through official channels only,” it advised. — DayakDaily
