KUCHING (Feb 27): Kelly Group has once again supported Hope Place Kuching by donating essential supplies worth about RM10,000.
The group’s leader Lau Hong Eng presented special milk supplements, adult diapers and children’s milk powder to Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan at the group’s office on Nanas Road here recently.
Kelly Group has consistently supported Hope Place in its mission to assist underprivileged communities in Kuching.
“Their continued contributions have played a significant role in ensuring that vulnerable individuals receive much-needed aid,” Hope Place said in a statement.
Currently, Hope Place provides various types of special milk powder and adult diapers to chronically ill and disabled individuals, including patients who rely on tube feeding.
For many of these patients, the specialised milk supplements are their sole source of nutrition, with each requiring six to eight cans per month.
The high cost makes it challenging for underprivileged families to maintain a continuous supply.
Hope Place expressed gratitude to donors like Kelly Group, whose ongoing support helps ease the burden on needy families and improves their quality of life.
The organisation also welcomed the public and corporate bodies to contribute to its initiatives.
Donations are accepted via Maybank account 511289001160 or through the S Pay Global QR code on Hope Place’s Facebook page. Receipts will be issued upon request.
