KUCHING, Oct 14: Despite respecting the strength of Kuching City FC, Kitchee SC remains determined to hunt for victory ahead of the Asian Champions League Two (ACL2) competition at Taha Ariffin Stadium tomorrow.

His head coach, Inigo Calderon acknowledged the action against The Cats would be different from playing in Hong Kong, as his team will play on opposing grounds for the first time in the campaign.

He described Kuching City as a strong team on its own site, thus expecting a difficult match for his control squad.

"Tomorrow is going to be a different game, especially since we played on the opposing team for the first time.

"We know what to expect and the question is whether we can adapt or bring our game patterns to Kuching.

Calderon however insisted that his team would not come down under excessive pressure, instead wanting to give the best performance while trying to take home three full points.

"We respect Kuching City, but at the same time, we came here to win, if not successful, at least we will try to get one point", he said.

The meeting was expected to test Kitchee SC's ability to adapt the game approach on the opposing court, in front of Aidil Sharin Sahak's control squad who definitely wanted to take advantage of acting in front of their own supporters.

He says the outcome of tomorrow's game is crucial to strengthening his ACL2 campaign this season.
