KUCHING: In response to the growing demand for convenient transportation solutions, Maxim, the prolific online transportation service provider, has unveiled its services in six new towns in the state.

This strategic expansion into Bau, Betong, Kanowit, Lundu, Sri Aman, and Tatau reflects Maxim’s commitment to advancing digitalisation and ensuring Malaysians have seamless access to online transportation services.

“We found that there is a lot of potential in the districts where we found a lot of demand, therefore we are expanding our services to new districts.

“We hope that with this, we can provide a facility in the field of transportation to the community of the area at a worthwhile price for them,” said Head of Development Department, Bintulu, Ahmad Shabrie in a press release today.

The proliferation of Maxim’s services is attributed to the increasing number of orders and a surge in demand from various towns across Sarawak. The move not only caters to the evolving needs of residents but also positions Maxim as a key player in the state’s transportation landscape.

The Maxim app now offers a diverse range of ride-hailing services in Sarawak, including Maxim Car (for up to 4 passengers), Maxim Compact MPV (with a maximum capacity of 6 passengers), and Maxim Comfort (providing a comfortable travel experience).

Additionally, Maxim introduces Buy and Deliver services, enabling users to purchase food and goods from their preferred stores or restaurants. Goods delivery services, such as Delivery using motorbikes and Car Delivery for larger packages, further enhance the app’s offerings, providing a comprehensive solution for users’ transportation and delivery needs.

The inaugural Maxim Car booking in one of the new towns saw a trip from Blacksmith to Penrissen, Kuching, located in the town of Bau, with a cost of RM25. For Sarawak residents interested in becoming Partner-drivers with Maxim, registration is open through sea.taxsee.pro/my/.
