MetMalaysia forecasts thunderstorms, heavy rain, strong winds for several areas nationwide until 4pm

KUCHING (July 30): The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather alert for thunderstorms, heavy rain, and strong winds in several areas nationwide until 4pm today.

In Sarawak, MetMalaysia stated that such weather condition can be expected in Serian, Samarahan (Simunjan), Sri Aman, Betong (Saratok and Kabong), and Sarikei (Pakan and Julau).

As for Sabah, similar adverse weather is expected in the Interior region of Tambunan and Tawau

MetMalaysia said similar weather condition is also expected in Kedah (Kulim), Penang, Perak (Larut, Matang and Selama, and Hulu Perak), Pahang (Cameron Highlands and Raub), Negeri Sembilan (Seremban, Kuala Pilah, and Rembau), and Johor (Tangkak, Segamat, and Muar).
