Mohd Chee make sure the construction of the New Kabong Mosque goes well

KABONG, 1 Oct: The construction project of Baharu Kabong Mosque continues to be given attention to ensure its implementation goes smoothly and according to the schedules set.

Member of the National Assembly (ADUN) Kabong, Dato Mohd Chee Kadir today attended the Bill Meeting. 12 (Bill. 5/2026) for the relevant project taking place at Kabong District Office.

The meeting served as a platform for coordination between the relevant parties to discuss current developments and technical matters related to project implementation.

Representatives of the Sarawak Islamic Council (MIS), Islamic Religious Department, Part Betong, Kabong District Office, consultants and project contractors were also present.

Among the matters considered were work progress, technical coordination and project implementation to ensure that each construction component ran smoothly.

Mohd Chee hopes that the project will be implemented on schedule, in addition to complying with specifications, quality standards and set requirements.

"Cooperation between executive agencies, consultants and contractors is essential so that any issues arising can be resolved immediately without compromising the project's smooth running.

"The Baharu Kabong Mosque is expected to be an important facility for the local Muslim community and meet the needs of Kabong residents in the future", he said.
