Motorcycle destroyed by fire, rider sent to hospital after collision at Jln Lapangan Terbang Kuching

KUCHING, June 15: A motorcyclist was injured after his motorcycle caught fire following a collision with a compact crossover SUV along Jalan Lapangan Terbang here early this morning.

In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 5.04am, and firefighters from the Tabuan Jaya station were deployed.

It was noted that the motorcycle was destroyed by the fire, and its rider, who was injured, was brought to the hospital by the Civil Defence Force (APM).

Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV did not sustain any injuries.
