KUCHING (April 7): A 26-year-old motorcyclist died on Monday night after a cement mixer lorry ran into him at the Jalan Pelabuhan traffic light intersection here.
The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) dispatched a team from the Tabuan Jaya fire station after a report was received at 9.50pm.
“The incident involved a cement mixer lorry and a motorcycle – the motorcyclist was underneath the lorry unconscious.
“He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics,” Bomba said in a statement.
The motorcyclist’s body was later handed over to the police for further action.
