New leadership team elected to lead Parti Aspirasi Rakyat Sarawak until 2031

KUCHING (March 30): Hugh Lawrence Zehnder has been elected chairman of Parti Aspirasi Rakyat Sarawak (Aspirasi) for a five-year term until 2031 following the party’s annual general meeting and election held recently.

Aspirasi secretary-general Lina Soo, in a statement on Monday, said the party’s newly-elected deputy chairmen are Jotem Kipa@Joseph and Rosli Lambeng.

Soo, who is a former party president, said Buln Patrick Ribos was elected president, while Fatrick Jime Nawi, Tambi Pilang and Lamon Kambeng were elected deputy presidents.

The vice presidents are Mesah Suhaili, Jane Dripin, Wong Chin King, Tan Kok Chiang, Duri Kisar, Ronie Arthur Stem, Lee Fah@Lee Shak Fah, Christopher Alexis Sellie and Justin Khong Zheng Loong.

Soo is assisted by Voon Put Tan@Voon Pok Tan and Deka Anyon.

Jileng Kion was elected as the party’s treasurer general, with Zuraida Jasmine Amin and Francis Dorus as his assistants.

The party’s Youth chief is Romeo Diyong.
