PUTRAJAYA: The portfolio of the Sabah and Sarawak Minister has been done away with and matters pertaining to the two states will be handled by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said matters of all states, including Sabah and Sarawak were his responsibility and that of the Cabinet.

“Now, DPM Fadillah will also be looking at issues affecting Sabah and Sarawak. There will be no ministerial portfolio,” he said after announcing a reshuffle of his Cabinet on Tuesday (Dec 12).
