Nur Azhar Bujang reappointed as Sarawak Legislative Assembly Secretary

KUCHING, Mar 30: Nur Azhar Bujang has been reappointed as the Secretary of the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUS) in a swearing-in ceremony held at the DUS building here today.

In a report from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the ceremony took place in the presence of DUS Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohammad Asfia Awang Nassar, after which Nur Azhar signed the instrument of appointment.

The reappointment reflects continued confidence in his leadership, experience, and commitment to carrying out his responsibilities.

Nur Azhar first took the oath as DUS Secretary in 2024, succeeding Dewan Negara member Senator Pele Peter Tinggom.

Also present were DUS Deputy Speaker Dato Idris Buang, senior lawyer from the Sarawak Attorney-General’s Chambers, Dr Jady@Zaidi Hassim, as well as senior officers of the DUS. — DayakDaily
