Ongoing repairs extend road closure

KUCHING: The Public Works Department (PWD) will extend the road closure period along Jalan Kuching-Bau near Siniawan (KM6+850) from December 9 to December 23.

The department has stated that this extension is due to issues such as road surface cracks, slope failure, and problems with the road embankment.

In light of this, the department advises road users to exercise caution and to use the alternative route provided, while adhering to the safety signs in place.
