Outgoing CP calls on Uggah

KUCHING: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas received a farewell courtesy call from Sarawak Police Commissioner CP Datuk Mohamad Zainal Abdullah on Tuesday (Sept 22).

The courtesy call was held following Zainal’s appointment as director of the Management Department of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), effective Sept 15.

During his tenure as Sarawak Police Commissioner, Zainal, who also served as the Sarawak Disaster Management operations commander, worked closely with Uggah, particularly through the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).

The collaboration is important in ensuring coordinated operations among agencies are carried out in an orderly manner, especially during disaster situations.
