Sabah to get better coverage with 400 new telecommunications towers, says Fahmi

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah will have better internet and phone coverage when the remaining 400 new telecommunications towers promised to the state are completed by year-end, says Fahmi Fadzil.

"For the first phase of the National Digital Network Plan (Jendela), Sabah has been allocated RM3.61bil to develop 647 new towers, upgrade 4,486 existing transmitter stations and provide fibre optic network to 303,569 premises statewide," said the Communications Minister.
