KUCHING (Dec 3): Sarawak civil servants will receive Special Financial Assistance (BKK) equivalent to two months’ salary, based on their November 2025 basic pay, said Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

Abang Johari said the incentive is a gesture of appreciation for the continued dedication of the state’s public officers in implementing government policies and initiatives across both urban and rural areas.

“The GPS Government records its highest appreciation to all members of the Sarawak Civil Service who remain committed to implementing government policies and initiatives, whether in urban or rural areas.

“Their hard work and sincerity are the backbone of our inclusive and sustainable development programmes,” he said when delivering his ministerial winding-up speech at the Sarawak Legislative Assembly today.

Abang Johari added that the BKK payment, which will be disbursed this month, is expected to involve RM131 million in financial implications.
