Search continues for Padawan woman missing since Saturday

KUCHING (Dec 8): A 57-year-old woman was reported missing after leaving her home at Lorong 4, Kampung Singai/Simpok, Padawan, to tend to her garden on Saturday.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the victim, identified as Aron Rajak, was last seen at about 12.30pm wearing a white singlet and a sarong.

“The family also informed us that the victim has a mental health condition,” Bomba said in a statement.

The emergency call was received at 9.16pm on the same day.

As of the second day of the Search and Rescue (SAR) operation on Sunday, no significant leads have been found.

“The SAR operation has been suspended and will resume the following on Monday,” Bomba added.
